A Printed Circuit Board, PCB, links different electrical components via solder joints versus copper traces and soldering. Both techniques yield similar results; however, the on-site technique is preferred when the company needs to handle large volume of orders. The off-site technique allows the company to work from home or a small office, without disrupting production. The on-site technique also offers more control over the entire production process.


Printed circuit boards can have a significant effect on product quality, efficiency and bottom line. Therefore, manufacturers who offer the best quality products at the most competitive prices are the best solutions for the PCB fabrication process. Manufacturers must carefully evaluate the costs and benefits of each method, including the combination of both. They should also be aware of the available options for cost control and real-time capabilities. With proper planning and a clear focus, manufacturers can make the most of their real-time manufacturing capabilities to provide customers with the best solutions for their products.
